If you're new to Everyset, you might notice something confusing: there isn't just one Everyset website or app. There are two separate platforms with two separate logins — and knowing which one to use (and when) will save you a lot of headaches. This article breaks down what each platform does, so you always know where to go next.
The Short Version
| Platform | Website | What it's for |
| Everyset Casting | jobs.everyset.com | Finding jobs, booking roles, viewing your booking details, and messaging your casting team |
| Everyset Vouchers & Payroll | onboard.everyset.com | Everything that happens once you've booked the job — start paperwork, signing your voucher, and getting paid |
Platform 1: Everyset Casting — jobs.everyset.com
Think of this as the "front door." jobs.everyset.com is where you:
- Create your talent profile and get discovered by casting directors
- Search and apply for background roles on TV and film productions
- Book jobs and view your booking details (call time, wardrobe, location, etc.)
- Message directly with your casting director about a specific project
Note: Everyset Casting is currently only available through a web browser (not as a mobile app).
If you're working with the Everyset Casting team, this is your home base before and during the booking process.
Platform 2: Everyset Vouchers & Payroll — onboard.everyset.com
Once you're booked on a job, the baton passes to onboard.everyset.com — also available as an app on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. This is where all of the paperwork and payment side of the job lives, including:
- Start paperwork — your I-9, tax forms (like your W-4), and any other new-hire documents, completed digitally before or on your first day
- Signing your voucher/timecard — after you work, you'll sign off on your hours digitally so production and payroll can process your pay
- Getting paid — tracking your payment status and direct deposit
- Tax documents — your W-2 will be available here at the beginning of the following year
Important: Everyset Vouchers & Payroll is used by many productions and casting companies — not just Everyset Casting. So if you booked a job through a different casting company, you may still get an onboarding email from Everyset asking you to set up an account at onboard.everyset.com. That's normal — it just means that production is using Everyset to process start paperwork and pay.
Why Are There Two Platforms?
Everyset started as a digital voucher and payroll company, helping productions go paperless with start paperwork and timecards. In 2021, Everyset also launched its own casting arm to book background actors directly. The two sides work closely together, but they're run as separate systems with separate logins — the Everyset Casting team you talk to about booking a role is a different team (and different login!) than the payroll system that pays you for it.
What Do I Actually Need to Do?
- Find and book your job at jobs.everyset.com (if you're working with the Everyset Casting team).
- Check your booking details on Everyset Casting for your call time and instructions.
- Watch for an onboarding email or text inviting you to set up your account at onboard.everyset.com. Use the same email you used with your casting director. If you have multiple accounts on Everyset's onboarding app, you can contact support to 'merge' those accounts into 1. Any future bookings to the previous various accounts will funnel into your 'active' account.
- Complete your start paperwork (I-9 and tax forms) before or on your first day of work.
- Sign your voucher on onboard.everyset.com after you finish working.
- Come tax season, log back in to onboard.everyset.com to get your W-2.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to sign up for both platforms?
If you're booking jobs through the Everyset Casting team, yes — you'll use jobs.everyset.com to find and book work, and onboard.everyset.com to complete paperwork and get paid for any job that uses Everyset for payroll.
I was booked by a different casting company, not Everyset Casting. Why am I getting an email from Everyset?
Many productions and casting companies use Everyset's voucher and payroll system even though they aren't affiliated with Everyset Casting. If you received an onboarding email, it's because that production is using Everyset to handle start paperwork and pay — you'll only need onboard.everyset.com, not jobs.everyset.com.
I already have an account on one platform — do I need to create a new one for the other?
Yes. Since these are two separate systems, you'll need a separate account for each one. We recommend using the same email address for both so everything stays easy to track.
Where do I go if I forgot my password or can't log in?
Use the password reset option on whichever platform you're trying to access — jobs.everyset.com for casting/booking issues, or onboard.everyset.com for paperwork, vouchers, or pay issues. If you're still stuck, reach out to support below.
